In a last-ditch effort to secure his education, 15-year-old Tsukune Aono's parents enroll him into Youkai Academy, a high school which, fortunately, due to their circumstance, doesn't have any prerequisites. On his way to class for the first time, Tsukune gets reamed by a pink-haired girl on a bicycle named Moka Akashiya, and takes a deep sniff of her hair before getting his blood sucked.
It doesn't take long after for Tsukune to realize that Youkai Academy is meant exclusively for monsters, and that the pretty girl he met on his way to class is, in fact, a real vampire. To make things worse, any humans discovered on campus are to be executed immediately, and with the bus home not returning to school for a month, things begin to look grim. How will "Snack Pack" Tsukune navigate his new relationship with Moka while keeping his identity as a human a secret?
